A journey through the flavors and history of Alentejo – Olive Oil Experience

Start your day in comfort with pick-up from your hotel in Lisbon. Head straight to Évora, a charming city full of history and classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first stop will be at a prestigious Alentejo estate, such as Herdade do Esporão (or similar), where you will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional process of olive oil production — from harvest to extraction. The experience ends with a tasting of extra virgin olive oils, allowing you to savor the unique aromas and textures of this emblematic regional product. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at one of the city’s traditional restaurants and taste the rich Alentejo cuisine. Then, we continue to Évora’s historic center for a guided walking tour through its cobbled streets, exploring iconic landmarks such as the Roman Temple, Évora Cathedral, and the impressive Chapel of Bones located inside the Church of São Francisco. At the end of the day, we return to Lisbon with our hearts full of history, culture, and authentic flavors.
